Hello, My name is Michelle Ramirez.
First off, let me say I'm very sorry for your loss.
Me and my family just receintly lost our son by a 15 year old african american
boy. It was foolish! Me and my husband have 4 wonderful, intellagent, respectful
boys. A 16 year old, 14 year old, 12 year old and a 10 year old. Our 12 year old is no longer with us.
He passed away this past June 21,2006. My 3 oldest boys went to play
basketball with a group of friends at a school playground. That's their passion,
(sport's) Anyways, they just started their game,when a 2 young boys walked up to
them and asked if they were from a gang? they,replied no. The 2 young boys walked
away with 2 steps,and turned back around and began firing shots out to my sons
crowd. They emptied the full clip on to the group. 2 boys were shot,they happened
to be both my sons.
My 14 year old was shot in the right hand and my 12 year old was shot in his back. He passed away at the hospital.
It's great what you are doing to honor and remember him for what he stood for.
